Against President Musharra


Pakistan's two main opposition parties have unite against President Pervez Musharraf's rule.

Opposition insists the provision Musharraf had the last parliament insert into the constitution that give him the power to dissolve the Parliament "must be eliminated."

Fromer PM Sharif and other opposition figures called for Musharraf to step down, and demands an immediate reinstatement of those judges he sacked and jailed/p>

Musharraf rejected calls to resign. President of the Supreme Court calls for his impeachment, details.

Fayed said royals wanted to "get rid of" Diana.

In an emotional appearance at the inquest into the deaths of Princess Diana and his son, Al-Fayed accused Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth's husband of being a a racist.

"And the French intelligence helped the British intelligence to execute their murder," he said.

The Royals didn't want her in the way and certainly didn't want a Muslim baby

The parliament of the disputed province of Kosovo declared independence from Serbia on Sunday, triggering a massive street party in the capital of Pristina and angry protests by Serbia and Russia.

Kosovo's political status had been undetermined since 1999, when Serbian forces were forced to withdraw under NATO bombs. The province was then placed under U.N. control.
