Bush to oppose Supreme Court Decision

Affirming Detainees Right to Challenge Detention
Is Considered by Bush a Taking of Federal Power

gitmo

The White House plans to oppose the Supreme Court ruling that says suspected terrorists held at Guantanamo Bay have the right to challenge their detentions in federal court.

Administration lawyers were digesting the ramifications of a decision they condemned as an unjustified judicial usurpation of federal and congressional prerogatives in waging war. They said the court provided little guidance for the standards judges should use in evaluating the claims of detainees seeking release, and suggested that they might press Congress to spell out new rules.

"I am hoping that there is some legislative enactments that we can pass that would protect our national security requirements, and limits this Habeas Corpus ruling" spokesperson said, details.

HERE'S THE UNPLEASNT REALITY
Israel is full of, promotes and practices racial and religious hatred against Arabs and Muslims. From vicious gang attacks against old men and their wives to War in Iraq, War in Iran, War in Lebanon, War in Syria it’s all the same thing,

Jewish hatred is actively inflaming the world into war.

The Israeli lobbyist want us to believe it’s a war against so-called “Muslim extremist,” or Islamic fanatics, when in reality it’s war for land and war for resources, like most wars are.

Israel has taken advantage of our sympathies for the Jewish great suffering of World War II, but those millions who died so cruelly at the hands of bad German leaders would be ashamed of what is now being done in their name. Now the Jews are the ones who do collective punishment, the Jews are the ones who practice apartheid, the Jews are the ones who are slowly starving over a million and a half people to death in the Gaza Strip, a slow starvation which is a policy of genocide.

Bill would have removed $17-billion dollars of cash subsidies to oil companies and imposed a 25 percent windfall profits tax (WPT). Issues of opening Arctic National Wildlife Refuge for oil drilling, price controls, oversight of Wall St. speculators driving up prices and selling some the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. Bill stalled in face of profound disagreements.
