Perhaps if we clearly saw our hypocrisy, see how most of the rest of the world see us, the USA, we could move onto the real issues with a more balanced view of reality. In the case of Georgia it's oil, Caspian Sea oil. Without doubt this is the number one reason, no matter what piteous propaganda the White House and the media pour upon our heads we should be able to see that (see last week's issue for more details, if interested) "We the People," need to get us off the phony high-horse we pretend to ride. We've killed hundreds of thousands of more innocent civilians in the last few years than combined actions of Russia or China or Iraq or Iran, or North Korea or whomever. Sad to say but true: We're the axis of evil: Oil, Israel, and the USA. And if we don't start seeing and don't start speaking the real world facts we are doomed to drive ourselves into greater disasters. (Not only is that Caspian Sea Oil going to Western nations from to the Mediterranean Sea ---the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline, but Israel already has contracts to to link this BTC pipeline to their Trans-Israel Eilat-Ashkelon pipeline, (aka: The Israel’s Tipline,) AND ISRAEL PLANS TO SELL THAT OIL TO ASIA! OMG! - The USA fighting for Georgia is actually and factually working against our own interests: Israel will siphon off much of that oil and sell it for profit to Asia! (P.S. - Why don't we stop our own oil companies, BTW, from exporting precious oil overseas; that would be a good thing to do; and many others good things here at home can be done) If we don't get our heads straight on this now we may never get our heads screwed on straight. This is not only serious, this is not only real world politick, but this is a clear as day. Making energy independence a "War," here at home would be the best war we could fight. If we put the money we put into Iraq into science, research, alternative renewable energies, the best biofuels, worked for clear coal and drilled where permits have already been granted, we'd be doing the best for ourselves rather then all our post-WWII efforts at imperialism and colonialism. Russian is not the only one stepping on nations here.
Label the boot with the name of our country: USA, and they label the We got to get real. We need to elect better leaders. As promised, though, I will come up with one Big Difference between US and Them: This is a far better country to live in (ha! -- so obvious yet so significant). Could you imagine any normal American waking up and thinking: God, I think I want to move to Russia --- No. Could you imagine any normal Russian waking up and thinking, God, I think I want to move to the USA -- Yes. And for reasons too many to enumerate, but things like: cash in your pocket, personal freedoms, opportunity, peace at home, and a positive participation in life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Bush is FEMA trying but he hasn't managed to destroy this yet. It's still our foreign policies that are bad, bringing us down, and not even in our own interests. There are many more things we could be doing here at home, like building bridges and roads, building factories to make things for ourselves as well as provide jobs, make ourselves energy independent, improve our schools, provide some health care, etc. Screw Bush. Screw Russia. Our real war is, once again: "We the People," against a government that works against our interests and prosperity, but this time is our own government, not King George III. |
I don't want to give 'aid and comfort to the enemy," and even now I will try to come up with some last line to deny it. But to listen to the White House this week you could almost wish you were brain dead rather than listen to the glaring hypocrisies. That, I suppose, would be my essential aid and comfort to the enemy. I would suggest, when replying to White House statements and lectures on foreign policy that they begin every sentence of their reply with the words: "You outrageous hypocrites!" For starters we're still in Iraq, a county we invaded for false reasons and with some deliberately fabricated lies and cover--ups. Also, we can threaten Iran with war everyday; but Russia is bad because it is taking action to protect it's real interests on it's borders (the West sneaking in and wanting to suck up all the Oil from the Caspian Sea). 'What's good for the goose is good for the gander," as they say, not that any of this is good at all. Our propaganda says Russia is restarting the Cold War.
Nothing could be further from the truth: We have been restarting the Cold War

Bush has been like FEMA for New Orleans. Iraq and the Middle East.,the economy, destroying our principles of justice - with his approval of torture, secret prisons and indefinite detentions.,like FEMA for the Americas, like FEMA now in the Caucasus.
Never have we sunk so low.
