Good Old & New USA

What I see in Obama is:A#1 > Integrity.

1. A distinguished man. well educated. refined.
2.We agree on the issues. He has good policies.
3. He articulates these issues with an awesome clarity and slaps lies right in the face.

Speaks in paragraphs, too, not just sound bites; thoughtful.

4. Youthful. Energetic. positive and inspiring
5. Nice wife. Nice kids.

What also ---totally to the max -- blows me away is when I see sometimes how 'behind the scenes,' in the political game he is an astute genius. In diplomacy he's awesomely artful, in debate on issues he hits like a hammer.

Our country would be in good hands with him in charge; so our country may start becoming a even a better place.

The USA again landing another robot rover on Mars reminded me, again, what a great country we are.

The USA is a country of incredible resources, brains, energy, and achievements (space, computers, universities, industry, commerce, retail stores, wealth, etc.).

It's really unfortunate that Bad News Bush and other like him have made us often focus on the bad.

Being a patriot just mean, IMO, to try and make your home and/or your nation a better place. We have a lot of good things going for us.

One prime the thing I now like about my country is the very real prospect of having better leaders. And certainly any Democrat would be better than Bush.

t's really 'funny,' how the media plays up all the gender and race issues in the campaign a lot but when I look at Hillary I basically see someone who I don't think is sincere, she'll say anything to get elected. Plus, I don't like her positions on issues important to me; so it's not her gender that's a turn off or a turn on.

Similarly with Barack I don't see a "black" guy at all; his skin color is NOT the issue nor is his skin color an issue for approximately 85% of our population. Maybe this isn't perfect but it's a long way from wicked and evil slave days.

. we have it all here: Want to live in the cities; we got great cities. Want to live in the forest; we got great forest; want to live on the beach; we got great beaches; want to live in the snow? want to live in the sun? It's all possible -- and we got a lot of jobs for most folks.

Nothing's perfect. The hopes and dreams of the people are often measured in miles while progress in politics is often measured in inches. But I feel we are getting back on the right track and not only will it make us a better nation, better world citizens, but also take us to the stars.
