Electing Better Leaders.
It’s still hard at this time to know if the Democrats are going to get real, get traction and live up to all the campaign promises and push hard for peace and complete withdrawal from Iraq, or if pretenses and political charades will continue to dominate. There is also the war in Afghanistan. There are major show-downs with the Russians. Our economy and nearly evrything else -- foreign and domestic policies -- has been trashed by eight years of Republican misrule.

But we are tremendously pleased with the election of President Barack Obama and his first Executive Orders and legislation passed in Congress.

Republicans blaming Obama, or....
Can Republicans now in Congress get away from Bush’s failed war in time? Can they wipe their hands clean of 6-years of warmongering over-night?

Can they run away from their wrecking of the economy?

I hope not. We have to defeat them again, and again.

When Will Karl Rove wind up in jail?
One of the major accusation that is sticking is that Karl Rove was coaching Justice Dept. witnesses to mislead Congress concerning the investigation into why seven state Attorney Generals were fired.

This obviously leads to the other accusations that are sticking on Rove: That state Attorney Generals were hired and fired for partisan political reasons.
