We are a force for good in the world, governments always say: "We work for peace." Our interests are, governments always say, to spread peace, liberty, democracy and freedom.   Sound familiar? Unfortunately governments like the Bush White House are more full of lies than truth.

• Ignore people or events or news stories you don't like. Pretend you make no mistakes, have no flaws, and are only working for Good, while at the same time, exaggerate & slander the opposition all the time and explain how they have nothing but Evil in their hearts. This is the first and foremost tactic of Propaganda 101 and we see it all the time, here and now.
  
  
• Dispute or deny ANY validity or rational reasons to your enemies ideas. Your opponents are Madmen. Insane. They can't be reasoned with. They have no just cause of concerns. They are all-wrong; we are all-right.
  

• Always slander your opponents actions and ideas. If your opponent walked on water claim it's because he or she can't swim.

• Make bold-faced lies for your actions, your motives, and your 'good faith' willingness to work things out. Like when Israel says it's going to withdraw from occupied territories what them mean is they will do a charade and than expand their own territory
  Make bold-faced lies when accused of anything bad, like when there are photos of torture at Abu Ghraib the USA announced that: "We don't torture people."
  
  
• Accuse your opponents of having false facts or for starting the trouble. Dispute the source or meaning of your opponents facts.
  
  
• Call your opponent stupid, lazy, ignorant, insane, mentally deranged, and a psychotic madman who has sex with barnyard animals.
  
  
• Misrepresent reality: while being the overwhelming dominant 'right-wing' conservative dominant media, keep complaining
  loudly about an alleged dominant 'left-wing' liberal media. If you intend to expand land-grabs,, say you are withdrawing from occupied territories.
  If you intend to continue a war, say that you are trying to end it. -- And make sure you indicate this is based on the enemy behaving properly and won't take place for years.
  
  
• React out of all proportion and with a sense that you have never done any wrong ; if someone steps on your toe, break their legs.
  Or like in the israeli-Gaza invasions of June 06, if someone allegedly kidnaps one of your soldiers, destroy roads, power supplies, homes and resources; threaten invasion again Syria; refuse to talk about all the woman and children prisoners you have.
  
  Indicate that it is your enemies responsibility for all aggression and only the enemy can resolve the problem by stopping their alleged aggression
  
  Attack people even though they have nothing to do with the crime. If some gang robs a bank, blame it on whoever you want and insist they return the money
  If one suicide bomber on his own blows up a car, blame it on his family or his neighbors, or the opposition party.
  
  
• Undermine the opponent by saying he's just seeking money or attention, and tell him to 'shut-up'.etc..
  
  
• Set up a 'straw man,' or a 'straw group,' that advocates your opponents ideas in an extreme, ill-informed or unpleasant way -- then attack the 'straw man.'
  Always exaggerate your opponents point of view, building it up like some straw-man scarecrow so then you can burn it down.
  
  
• Launch a BIG LIE, like WMD and just keep pushing it and pushing it, even when it's proved wrong: Keep pushing it.
  Then push it some more; expand it; keep your aggression moving forward in new ways and into new territories.
  
  
• Make Unreasonable Demands: Such as: "we can only start diplomatic talks if you give up all your weapons, admit we're right, renounce terrorist, first agree to our 'renegotiable demands,' etc.(and come over here and kiss our butts.)
  
  
• Distract people with other issues, like starting up a debate about gay marriage, flag-burning, etc. rather than allowing a focus of the war or immigration or serious things. Muddy the water with these tangent distractions and red herrings to lead folks away from what is really important and what should be the focus of concern.
  
  
• Cause general confusion about details and what's happening. Increasing the coverage of crime, salacious murders, gang rapes, car chases, the weather, plane crashes -- *hit on everything -- to add to the national ATD.,making it harder for people to follow issues, or discern truth.
  
  
• Eventually get everyone so disgusted people ,or so broken down with destroyed lives and homes, that they can't care or fight back anymore. They give us on stopping evil policies. They have to worry about their own survival. They feel 'Resistance is Futile.'
  
  
• When things aren't going your way: Ask people to calm down. Ask people to have patience. Ask for folks to be reasonable. Talk about 'love,' and 'working for peace.' -- all the time continuing with your own evil plans.
  
  
• Keep bringing people's attention back to Your Concern, your issues, your history, your nation, your view of the world.
  
  
• Call for support of others to 'gang-up' on your opponents, to destroy their reputation and credibility, hit them relentlessly from all sides. make vague references to history or others that support your point of view.
  
  
• Wave the Flag and God's righteousness over your actions while calling the opponent the Devil or 'Evil One. Always talk tough and say that you are the only person or group that can guarantee law and order, or peace and security.
  
  
• Spy on people. Read their mail. Read their email. Check what sites people might browse. Check what books they read. Monitor their phone calls. Check their financial records. Increase suspicions against each other. Plant spies. Insert 'agents provocateur,' Increase worry about behaving 'out-of-line.' (for anything) . Destroy trust and compassion.
  
  
• Never discuss the truth. Say you want peace when you really mean war. Say you want democracy while ignoring the democratic will of your own people, say you want freedom as you dismante protections of civil liberties, say you believe in liberty when you really believe in slave wages and cheap oil.
  

More than words are needed for war propaganda such as: killings , arresting citizens without reason , holding people without trials, trials with secret evidence and hearsay, secret prisons, wiretapping, torture, forced relocation, bulldozing of homes, collective punishment, destruction of roads and infrastructure, disabling of services like water, electricity, mail, trash-pickup, medical care, education, jobs, and banking.

To get really serious words are not enough, but when coupled with state-sponsored terrorism -- it's deadly.

COALITION FORCES:
It would be more accurate to say the war is being fought by US forces
with token participation of a few other nations who play an insignificant role.

TRAINING
This term is used to describe USA soldiers 'training,' Iraqi's and others how, apparently, to fight.
But since their people have been fighting for thousands of years before the existence of the USA it might be presumed
they know how to fight. 'Training,' therefore, must have more to do with indoctrination, or employing those who agree with us,
perhaps even instilling a motivation for policies we want to establish, or turning them into some mirror image of ourselves.
Amazing enough, after this training, it seems they march differently, carry different weapons, do not adapt our alleged values,
don't show up for work half the time, and generally seem to continue to go their own way.

Anyhow, It's rather arrogantly to claim to train a nation that has thousands of years of more experience, isn't it?

But hero really means someone who has done some extraordinary.
Just because you enlist in the military does not make you a "hero." It makes you a soldier.

SENDING A SIGNAL
This appears to mean 'posturing,' or pretending to do something. It might be related to the idea that Bush thinks he can control world affairs by sending out Press Releases, putting up a sign that reads: Mission Accomplished, or making speeches saying: "Bring It On!"
The major 'signal,' appears to be the USA is at war with half-the-world and Bush has to keep on explaining why?

WE'LL STAND DOWN WHEN THE IRAQI'S STAND UP
Another reason given for staying in Iraq. With the implication that after a country is invaded, the leader of the country killed, the major political party and the whole army disbanded, normal civil order turned into daily riot, homes and businesses destroyed daily, millions of people made homeless, the more educated and richer people fleeing the country for their lives, water supplies cut off, trash pick-ups stopped, electrical power cut in half, fuel for cars and cooking in short supply, national and personal incomes crippled, a puppet and ineffectual one-sided dominated government under foreign and sectarian domination, hundreds of thousands of people killed, extraordinary increase in normal crimes and murder, daily death and explosions, collapse of infrastructure and government institutions, collapse of hospitals, courts and schools, an ongoing civil war, religious war, insurgent war and wars propelled by foreign influences, that the people of Iraq should 'get their act together.'

It would be more pro-American to be against starting wars for Deliberate False Reasons, torture like in Abu Ghraib,
illegal and secret imprisonment like in 'Gitmo,' and cold blooded murder of civilians, as apparently happen Most Dramatically in Hiditha,
the loss of some essential civil liberties, the 'stacking' of our judiciary and government administration with right-wing, heartless ideologues,
betrayal of our own government agents as testified in the 'CIA Leak Case,' war-profiteering by companies like Halliburton
given contracts without any bidding process and paid millions of dollars even for services DOCUMENTED by the Army as not having been delivered,
the rampant corruption in Baghdad where BILLIONS (!) of dollars have 'gone missing, and getting involved in religious disputes
that have gone on for over 1,000 years, ETC.

With Abu Ghraib, of course we got all those pictures. Secrets prisons have been revealed in Poland and Romania.
Maybe if we close our eyes it will all go away?
Or maybe the 5-Part Patriot Plan will restore dignity and a better direction for our country.
