The decline of the quality of our government is amazing, isn't it?
This article,expresses some frustration about the current tactics of the anti-war movement.

WAS WRITTEN when Congressman Dave Obey was hassled, annoyed, embarrassed, videoed and posted on YouTube
by by a group called: Project Occupation; in early March, 2007. When, a few days later a group of anti-war activist from Code Pink began a 'sit-in.' at Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's offices, this article was sent to hundreds of activist and groups, posted on dozen of web sites, and sent to major media outlets.
Then at a Congressional Hearing where violated CIA agent Valleri Plame Wilson had her first chance to speak in public, to testify under oath about the leaking of her name, her true covert classified status and the wrong-doing of the White House to betray her...
...When she gets the first chance to do that after four years of lies and mistreatment, a Code Pink member, a male transvestite in a ridiculous pink dress, blouse and pillbox hat hogs the camera, distracts from the Hearing which is CONDEMING WHITE HOUSE ACTIONS! , and written on his chest is the absurd idea of : Impeach Bush (which would make Dick Cheney president, D'uh).
HOW MUCH MORE ABSURD COULD THE ANTI-WAR MOVEMENT LOOK?
HOW MUCH MORE INEFFECTIVE AND COUNTER PRODUCTIVE COULD IT BE?
Isn't this enough?

IS A BAD IDEA.

We have to stop this war, stop our other evils, clean up our
act and become a decent nation once again and stop being such bad guys
around the world, and so neglectful here at home (FEMA, Veterans Hospitals, etc)

Release every week about how good things are going!!

Note (to Front Range Coalition Group Moderator) -- I'm getting 'upset,' about Project Occupation,
esp.when I see today, over and over again on TV, of a Democratic Congressmen who is working to end the war in Iraq being hassled by these people.
What type of tactic is that?
I am now on a thread to trying to encourage Project Occupation
and others with such misdirected energies, to change their target.
I will be encouraging them to ANNOY THEIR ENEMIES NOT THEIR FRIENDS.
I don't want to get sarcastic about this with you or others, but doesn't the plain common sense of this get through or not?

I'm thinking of calling it: Liberal Idiots.
I'm calling it that because those were the words of frustration and definition used by Congressman Dave Obey, an anti-war and pro-environment Congressman, who was hassled, annoyed, embarrassed, videoed and posted on YouTube by Project Occupation (and/or Occupation Project) people.
In my firm opinion it must be realized that this crazy and counter-productive idea,
#1) Proved to be a total failure in the 1968 'Days of Rage,' when stoneheaded hippies OR Agent Provocateur broke into and disrupted the Democratic National Convention, leading to the 'police riots,' leading to the disgrace and embarrassment of the Democratic candidate for president that year, leading to the election of wicked Richard Nixon.
OK -- Maybe you've seen the video about the Chicago Riots in 1968, the 'Days of Rage?"
Please, please, whatever help you can amass to turn this lunacy around, to focus RIGHTEOUS OUTRAGE
against the enemy/the opponent, will be one of the greatest services you can do.

This 3-Part Plan is a very well thought out and forceful set of actions, some of which any individual can start all by themselves, which will have real-world consequences in deleting or at least diluting Bush & Republican power.
As a final note, you might be interested in the idea that not only should our Congress hold needed investigations into the deliberate fabrication and use of false intelligence used to start the War in Iraq, but there is also justification that the United Nations also hold similar investigations: SINCE THE UNITED NATIONS WAS TOLD THE SAME LIES TO GET APPROVAL FOR THIS WAR!
That idea is also on the web site of American Citizens Together, though somewhat buried on a page that covers a dozen other issues and ideas, since there are priorities in our own country which must be settled first, we believe, before moving on to UN action.
