THIS SITE IS ABOUT DISCOVERING who was behind the forged documents claiming Saddam Hussein was trying to buy yellowcake uranium from Niger, claims which were used to falsely accuse Iraq of trying to make nuclear weapons, weapons of mass destruction, the primary Bush White House justification for the War in Iraq.

THE STIMULOUS FOR OUR INVESTIGATION was the release June 5, 2008 of the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee's final Bush-era investigation into the false intelligence community information that mislead nations into war: False intel Iraq.

Some topics, like the one this site focuses on: the forged documents claiming Saddam was trying to buy yellowcake uranium from Niger, were not even allowed to be investigated (!)

But, at least in some cases, in this 2008 Senate report new information was revealed, making it possible to come to conclusions of who was behind the deliberate fabrication of lies that led our nation and others into war, not just minunderstandings or excusable mistakes.

A REASON FOR URGENCY is how it's happening again.

ENOUGH EVIDENCE HAS NOW BEEN EXPOSED TO MAKE IT CLEAR THAT THE USA RUSHED TO WAR IN IRAQ BASED ON LIES, ILL-WILL AND PRE-EXISTING INVASION PLANS; THE REASONS FOR WAR TOLD TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WERE FALSE.

THE SAME THING, THE SAME ACCUSATIONS, THE SAME FALSE intel,intelligence AND PROPAGANDA, OFTEN COMING FROM THE SAME PEOPLE AND GROUPS, IS BEING DONE AGAIN, NOW, WITH SYRIA, WITH IRAN, WITH ANY NATION WE DON'T LIKE THAT SEEKS NUCLEAR POWER; OR JUST AS AN EXCUSE TO GO TO WAR WITH ANY NATION.

AS WE ALL KNOW NOW, NO NUCLEAR, NO CHEMICAL, NO BIOLOGICAL WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION WERE FOUND IN IRAQ.

AND SADDAM HAD NO LINKS TO 9/11, THE OTHER FALSE CLAIMS FOR WAR.

TO CONSIDER ALL THIS JUST A 'FAILURE IN intel,intelligence,' WOULD BE NAIVE.

BUT NOW WE CAN SEE THE LIES. AND INSTEAD OF MORE WAR - WE SHOULD DEMAND SOME ACCOUNTABILITY, SOME JUSTICE.

These 16-words make a false claim based on forged documents.,

These 16_words are the Smoking_gun showing deliberate lies were used to start the war in Iraq. -- and we're determined to find out who is behind this smoking-gun, who created this specific piece of False intel Iraq.

Note: Immediately after this statement Bush also said: Our intel,intelligence sources tell us that he [Saddam] has attempted to purchase high-strength aluminum tubes suitable for nuclear weapons production." - but this piece of False intel Iraq could be attributed to 'bad judgment,' not deliberate fabrications.

AFTER THE INVASION OF IRAQ, No Weapons of Mass Destruction
were found there not nuclear, not chemical, not biological, none.

Before the war over 1,000 weapons inspectors were in Iraq and they never found such evidence of such weapons either.

Condoleezza Rice said on CNN: "The problem here is that there will always be some uncertainty about how quickly he can acquire nuclear weapons. But We don't want the smoking gun to be a mushroom cloud."

Vice President Cheney said on Meet the Press: "Specifically aluminum tubes. There’s a story in The New York Times this morning-this is-I don’t-and I want to attribute The Times. I don’t want to talk about, obviously, specific intel,intelligence sources, but it’s now public that, in fact, he has been seeking to acquire, and we have been able to intercept and prevent him from acquiring through this particular channel, the kinds of tubes that are necessary to build a centrifuge. And the centrifuge is required to take low-grade uranium and enhance it into highly enriched uranium, which is what you have to have in order to build a bomb."

"I can say that I know for sure, Cheney said,
"that he’s trying to acquire the capability of making nuclear weapons."

President George W. Bush then followed up on this fear and urgency, in a well-noted speech in Cincinnati, October 7, 2002, In Cincinnati Bush ominously said.

"America must not ignore the threat gathering against us. Facing clear evidence of peril, we cannot wait for the final proof, the smoking gun that could come in the form of a mushroom cloud."

The one excuse Bush and his neocon cohorts now use is saying they just got the intel,intelligence wrong, that everyone believed Saddam had weapons of mass destruction, that this is what the CIA was telling them.

But not every other intel,intelligence agency believed this; far from it. And the CIA had to act forcefully to remove the specific Niger Yellowcake Claim several times (like before Powell spoke at the UN, from a speech Bush gave before the January 2003 State of the Union, and they even tried to remove this Niger Yellowcake Claim -- the now infamous 16_words -- from the State of the Union itself.

The White House excuses are not true. Two special tasks forces had been set up to 'sell the war,' The Niger Yellowcake Claim, the 16-words in the State of the Union speech, January, 2003, was a deliberate fabrication created by people inside the government, people inside the White House.

In an interview of a White House insider by noted reporter Bob Woodward, it's claimed these 16-words were removed by the CIA but then put back in the State of the Union by pressure from Vice-President Dick Cheney, details.

The Vice-President was a key source of all these lies. One of the special tasks forces set up to "sell the war," -- the Iraq Group -- operated out of his White House office.

Ray McGovern who served in the CIA for twenty-seven years, and was once in charge of preparing the all-important NIE - National intel,intelligence Estimate -- was one of the first to make this charge publicly, saying, "the [forged Yellowcake claims] leads right back to the doorstep of the Vice President of the United States." article-video.

A SECOND SOURCE OF THIS NIGER YELLOWCAKE LIE , Nine months after the invasion of Iraq, in December 2008, a leading member of the new American-supported coalition government claimed to have found an alleged memo about this shipment of yellowcake uranium from Niger, this memo was dated July 1, 2001 and it was claimed to have been written by the head of Iraqi intel,intelligence Services from the Saddam era and sent by this head of intel,intelligence to Saddam. This was reported in the UK's Daily Telegraph, details.

Tahir Jalil Habbush al-Takriti was the head of Iraqi intel,intelligence Services in the Saddam era.

Dr. Ayad Allawi, a member of Iraq's ruling seven-man Presidential Committee, was the one who turned the memo over to reporters and said the document was genuine.

Since we all now know this information is not true we have to wonder where this false memo came from? The White House Iraq Group is the most probably answer, since they were behind the initial false Niger Yellow Cake claims.

When does this false information first show up?

WE NOW KNOW: A few days after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks in the United States, SISMI, the Italian intel,intelligence agency, had sent along this information about the alleged sale of uranium to Iraq to the CIA chief of station at the US Embassy in Rome.

When does this information first show up in D.C.?

WE NOW KNOW: On Oct. 15, 2001, the CIA reports officer at the embassy wrote a brief summary received from Sismi, the Italian intel,intelligence agency, signed and dated it, and routed it to CIA's Operations Directorate headquarters.

A 'Senior Executive intel,intelligence Brief,' was written in which the CIA mentioned the new intel,intelligence.

This CIA report was sent to the Defense intel,intelligence Agency, the National Security Council, the White House.

What happen next?

Now much was made of these forged documents at that time. The CIA didn't make much of it. The intel,intelligence agency at the State Department (INR) doubted it's value.

But Vice-President Dick Cheney kept pushing for further investigation. He asked the CIA to get more info.

When Wilson came back with report stating the Niger Yellowcake claims were untrue, Cheney wasn't happy.

Was their opposition to these claims prior to the war?

Former Ambassador Joe Wilson, as mentioned above, came back from his trip to Niger and said there was no truth to these claims.

March 7, 2003, two weeks prior to the U.S. invasion of Iraq, Mohamed El Baradei, the head of the IAEA - International Atomic Energy Agency -- that had been doing extensive weapons inspections in Saddam's Iraq, also said these claims of Iraq producing weapons of mass destruction were was based on forged documents.

French intel,intelligence also checked out these claims of yellow cake sales and concluded there was no truth to them. [French companies control most of the Niger uranium mining].

So who produced these forged documents?

THIS IS THE FOCUS OF OUR SEARCH: Who's behind this Smoking-gun?

The trail starts with SISMI, the Italian intel,intelligence agency,

As former CIA agent McGovern spoke out on national TV said -- and other agents also indicated --a former CIA agent, 'independent spyman,' and so-called 'intel,intelligence consultant," with connection to Rome, put it together. Two former agents of the CIA produced the forged documents in Washington, D.C. - he delivered them to SISMI.

SISMI gave them to the Rome office of the CIA. The plot was in motion.

Not yet able to be confirmed but obviously someone with great authority and access everywhere had to order this: Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz is the prime suspect; not only responsible for getting the false Niger Yellowcake claims planted this way but then encouraging Vice-President Cheney to put pressure on the CIA to take these documents seriously.

How do the British get involved?

The State of the Union Address, January 29,2003, that “The British Government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa.”

The British intel,intelligence Agency, MI-6, says they got the information from SISMI but from sources other than SISMI -- sources they refuse to identify.

After MI6 got the info from SISMI -- in a rather dramatic and more public '2nd dissemination' of the Niger Yellowcake claim, nearly a year after the documents were first delivered to the CIA in Rome. the information then appeared in a British newspaper and an effort was made to put it in an Italian newspaper.

One thing that always seemed strange from the beginning:

Why did President Bush think the British confirmation of these lies was more important and valuable -- and referring to them in this State of the Union Address in 2003, -- rather than talking about what his own nation's intel,intelligence service, the CIA was saying?

Since the beginning of this plot to mislead nations to war there has been one criminal conviction, one of Cheney's aide, Irving Lewis 'Scooter,' Libby, guilty of perjury in what was known as: 'The CIA Leak case.

The CIA leak scandal was an attempt to discredit former ambassador Joseph Wilson, who was the man the CIA sent to check out the Niger Yellowcake claims.

How far this web of great evil spreads across our government agencies and past and present leadership is still not completely known. Efforts to stir up a war with Iran in the same way have been ongoing for years.

We should not be so dumb as to get fooled again.

The efforts of thousands of others to get to the truth, some with great risk, is deeply impressive and we applaud and appreciate their efforts to tell the truth, to challenge the lies, to work for a more decent and honest democracy.

IF NOTHING ELSE: Members of the White House were encouraging the use of this questionable False intel in a reckless and irresponsible way.

And going to extreme lengths to discredit critics. But believe this would be far too kind and far too naive.

People deserve to go to jail for this; people at the highest levels of our government, the so-called 'neocons,' who wanted a war in the worse way and were willing to do anything, say anything, to see it started.

If we don't bring war criminals to justice now, if we don't hold them responsible for what could add up to the murder of millions and the waste of $Trillions then someone else will do such crimes again.

Why not? If there is no accountability now, in the face of such wrongdoing and evidence, we'd be fools to think there would be any greater accountability in the future.
